Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish is actually a water-borne polymer formula, not a wax. It protects floors and gives a rich, deep glow to sealed hardwood floors, wood laminate, stone, tile, vinyl, and all other sealed hard surface flooring. Unlike wax products, Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish is much easier to apply, maintain and touch up, while never yellowing and being slip resistant.
Though Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish has certain cleaning characteristics built into its formula, it is not solely a cleaning product. It was developed as a gloss and color restoration for hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, and stone surfaces to enhance their appearance.
If Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish has not been properly maintained or applied, it can be removed with our Quick Shine® Deep Cleaner. This Deep Cleaner will not harm hardwood floors or other types of hard surface floors such as luxury vinyl plank, tile, stone, marble and laminate. Simply dilute the Deep Cleaner in hot water and apply to the floor surface. Let stand for a few minutes, then scrub lightly. Do small sections of the floor at a time. Then remove debris and build-up from the floor with a clear water rinse.
Though ammonia and vinegar solutions can clean some household surfaces, using them on hard surface floors will make your floors less shiny over time. If you plan to use Quick Shine® Multi Surface Floor Finish, do not clean the floor with oil soap, pine oil, orange oil, ammonia, vinegar, or any other all-purpose cleaner. These cleaners can leave an oily residue or detergent haze that interferes with the bonding process of Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish.
For light cleaning, clean your floor with our Quick Shine® Mop Pad dampened with tap water. For heavier soil, use the mop pad with our Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner or Quick Shine® Deep Cleaner.
Yes. Damp or dry, our tightly woven, plush micro-fiber material is very efficient at trapping dirt and loose debris. Try it both ways and see which you prefer.
We do not recommend squirting our Finishes on the entire floor before spreading out with a mop as our Finishes will begin forming a protective layer the moment it is applied to the floor. It is best to work in small, 5’x5’ sections and squirt and spread with a lightly dampened microfiber mop or sponge mop. Working towards the exit of the room will allow you to step out of the room and remain off of the floor as it dries.
You can remove Quick Shine® Floor Finishes from a variety of surfaces with WINDEX or FORMULA 409. Apply either of these products directly onto the Quick Shine® splatter and leave it on for a minute or so, and then wipe it off with a damp cloth. This method has worked for many of our consumers who needed to remove a small amount from stainless steel appliances, countertops or tables.
Our Quick Shine® Floor Finishes should not be used in our Quick Shine® Spray Mop as these formulations will clog the spraying mechanism. The Quick Shine® Spray Mop is only to be used with our Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Cleaners or Hardwood Floor Cleaners.
We recommend using our Quick Shine® Hardwood Floor Mop Kit with Reusable Microfiber Pad to apply our Polishes. Simply squirt our Finish or Luster to the floor and immediately spread with the lightly dampened microfiber pad.
Our Quick Shine® Microfiber Refill Pads can be washed hundreds of times. For best results, do not use bleach or wash with towels. We recommend washing alone. Always immediately rinse your microfiber pad after applying our Finishes.
No. You can soften the microfiber pad by soaking it in a mixture of Ammonia and HOT water for 45 minutes. The polymer will liquefy and release from the fibers so you have a clean pad again.
Yes, look for the Safer Choice® Seal of Approval on all of our floor care products! Our products do not contain harsh chemicals that can harm our kids, pets or planet!
No. We never test on animals.
Yes, our Quick Shine® Finishes are compatible with any sealed hard floor surface. Our Hardwood Floor Luster is more specific to hardwood as it contains pure carnauba wax which add to the durability of the finish for high traffic homes.
Both our Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Finish and Quick Shine® Hardwood Floor Luster are compatible and can be applied over existing dry coats of one another.
No. Quick Shine® Polishes and Cleaners are formulated ready-to-use and should not be diluted. Simply squirt, spread and allow to dry for a fresh and revitalized clean floor.
