Perfect Pair: Clean & Shine
With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we want to highlight the “perfect pair” of our Quick Shine® products to give your floors a beautiful shine! We will give you helpful tips so you may choose the dynamic duo perfect for you!
Below are the perfect pairs we recommend using for your clean & shine application;
Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner and Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish – Use on a variety of floor surfaces including; hardwood, laminate, tile, luxury vinyl plank, stone, and more. The Floor Cleaner is the cleaning agent to ready your floors for the Floor Finish. The cleaner is also recommended to use for maintaining the shine. The Floor Finish is designed to protect and give your floors a stunning shine!
Quick Shine® Hardwood Floor Cleaner and Quick Shine® Hardwood Floor Luster – Specifically designed for hardwood floors. The Hardwood Floor Cleaner is the cleaning agent to prep your floors for the Hardwood Floor Luster and is also recommended to use to maintain the shine. The Hardwood Floor Luster restores the richness, color, and beauty of your hardwood floors. It is also fortified with pure, natural, plant-based carnauba for durability to withstand foot traffic on hardwood floors.
Both pairs complement each other to give you the best results when used and maintained correctly.
First, dry dust and clean your floors using one of our Quick Shine® Floor Cleaners (as mentioned above) using a microfiber applicator. Do not clean with vinegar, ammonia, or other all-purpose cleaners as it can interfere with the film formation process.
Second, when applying the Floor Finish or Hardwood Floor Luster, spread with a microfiber pad that has been freshly rinsed with cool tap water and wrung out. Never spread the finishes with the same applicator that you use to clean the floor. Use broad even strokes instead of a back-and-forth motion as this may cause streaks or haziness. It is also important to let the finish completely dry (45-60 minutes depending on humidity levels and temperatures) before applying subsequent coats and before allowing pets or foot traffic on the floor. You may apply 2-3 coats to your completely dry floor for a deep, rich, protective glow.
We recommend maintaining the shine by frequently dry dusting or using a damp microfiber pad on the floors to help keep the soil levels at a minimum. For a more thorough clean, use the perfect pair Quick Shine® Cleaner that matches the finish product you chose to apply to your floors.
You may freshen the shine with a new gloss coat whenever you feel it is necessary by simply applying a new coat of the Floor Finish or Hardwood Floor Luster. As a general rule of thumb, high-traffic areas should be freshened every 2-3 months, and light traffic areas every 4-6 months. You can even freshen just the high-traffic lanes of the floor if you wish.
