I am spending THOUSANDS of dollars to have my hardwood floors re-finished due to the darkening and buildup of this product in my house. It has caused immense damage and I wish I had never used this product. It produces a dark coated film over time over the entire surface and a buildup along the perimeter of the floors and in corners where mops push. We are having to have all of our floors professionally stripped of this product that is taking a lot of manual work to scrape up with razor blades. If I could sue you for false advertising, I would.

      Hi Rebecca,

Yes, Quick Shine is an acrylic based finish that can be applied over painted floors. Start by dry dusting/damp mopping floors. Once floors are clean and dry, simply squirt the finish in an “S” pattern on the floor and spread evenly with a damp microfiber mop. Allow finish to dry 30-45 minutes before foot or pet traffic. You can also apply additional coats after one hour if a higher shine is desired. For more tips, please contact customer service at 800-255-1891. We are always happy to help!

    Hi,
We hard areas of our hardwood floor which appear to have not been sealed. They color has come off easily due to a little water exposure. Would one of your products seal the area to prevent damage?
Second, which product would be best for a wood floor in a high use area that has become scratched?
    Thank you!

      Hi Michelle,

Although Quick Shine was formulated for floors, many consumers use it on a variety of surfaces including trim. Our formula is pH neutral and will apply to any hard surface. Wipe your trim first with a lightly dampened cloth. Once dry, simply apply Quick Shine with a clean damp cloth and wipe on. Allow to dry before applying any additional coats.
