Spring Cleaning Tips for Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring
The birds are chirping, trees are budding and winter is making its final farewell, it’s finally Spring! It’s time to store away those winter boots, the same winter boots that have been walking all over your beautiful Luxury Vinyl floors all season long through the long, dirty, cold, and unforgiving months of winter. Winter not only pummels the outdoors, but mud, snow, and salt are tracked all over your home, leaving a mess on your floors. With Spring comes everyone’s favorite springtime activity, Spring cleaning.
Here are some spring cleaning tips to get your floors back in tip-top shape.
There are a few times a year when bringing out the mop and bucket is necessary and this is one of those times. After removing rugs, and seasonal décor, and sweeping away anything else that finds its way to the floor, start by mixing 1/2 cup of Quick Shine Concentrated Floor Cleaner with a gallon of warm water. Simply wash your floors and rinse frequently to remove the dirt and grime from seasons past. Finish with a clean water rinse and voila! Perfectly clean floors ready to tackle whatever spring decides to track in.

I used your concentrated Deep Cleaner to remove Rejuvenate All Floors Restorer from my luxury vinyl and it did a great job. Floor was dull so I used your multi surface floor finish. It did put a shine on my floor but it scratches easily and has left mop lines and imprints from shoes , dog paws , and anything else that comes in contact with the floor. Any suggestions to make my floor look better ? Thank you
Hi Elaine,
If there was any remaining cleaning residue from when you removed Rejuvenate from the floors, it could be preventing our Finish from curing and bonding properly making it easier to scratch or show paw prints. We recommend applying a second or third coat for added durability. If additional coats do not fix the issue with paw prints, you may need to remove the Finish again.
